MUSIKMITTWOCH MIT METRO AREA
Metro Area kommen aus dem schönen Brooklyn, sind ein House- und Disco-Duo und haben ihre erste gemeinsame EP 1999 veröffentlicht. Auch die aktuellen Songs von Morgan Geist, der auch schon für Franz Ferdinand oder Erlend Øye an den Knöpfen drehte, und dem schüchternen Darshan Jesrani erinnern immer noch irgendwie an früher. Ruhig und trashig zugleich, wirken sie trotzdem frisch und vergnügt. Den Fußballsommer verbringen die beiden bei uns in Europa, zum Beispiel diese Woche in Kroatien auf dem Garden Festival, was wir euch ja schon mal wärmstens ans Herz gelegt haben.

Probably something that would have gotten me beaten up under less fortunate circumstances, like "Free to be You and Me" by Marlo Thomas & Friends.

I'm not sure that there's a song only I know that nobody else does, unless it's something I'm working on but isn't out yet, in which case it's called "Spy on Me" by Funn City.
