Wenn Tom Krells zerbrechliche und weiche Stimme in dem Song "Words I Don't Remember" einsetzt, hat man das Bedürfnis den dunkelhaarigen, 30-Jährigen in den Arm zu nehmen und ihm zu sagen, dass alles gut wird. Nach seinem Debüt "Love Remains" und dem Nachfolger "Total Loss" erschien vor zwei Tagen schließlich das dritte Album von How To Dress Well. "What is this Heart?" ist irgendwie schwermütig und süß zugleich. Wie ein Softeis, überzogen mit dunkler, schwarzer Schokolade, das einen innerlich beruhigt, sammelt und nachdenken lässt. Zugleich erzeugt es aber auch eine Tiefe , die einen irgendwo zwischen einem tiefen Abgrund und den Wolken hängen lässt. Diesen Sonntag spielt die Ein-Mann-Band übrigens auch auf dem Foreign-Affairs-Festival, mit dabei: ein neuer, sehr persönlicher Song. Wir empfehlen: Dringend hingehen und bis dahin noch ein paar Eis schlecken.

Ummm, I don't really believe in being embarassed by things like this. I think that if you like something and you believe you have good taste, then you should be able to give an account of why you like it. Like, I love pop as much as I love Debussy and I think I have good reasons for doing so.
