Der Insulaner is really more of a hill. It’s a beautiful park between Schöneberg and Steglitz. There are green lawns, pretty cherry trees, an open-air swimming pool, a toboggan run, a minigolf course, hiking trails and an observatory with a planetarium right at the top of the Trümmerberg (hill made out of old rubble). Der Insulaner is also very popular among runners and only a short distance away from Schöneberger Südgelände.
